The great Himalayas
of Nepal are well known as one of the best
destinations in the world for enjoying the real
beauty of the nature. Through trekking the trail
into the interior parts of the country flowers
ancient foot trails which remember through scenic
rivers-banks, terraced fields, forested ranges and
mountain villages.
Trekkers may walk along the rough but
beautiful trails in the lap of green and friendly
looking hills. The rhododendron filled green dark
and deep forests with different seasonal flowers
blossoming, domestic and forest animals, variety of
birds, monasteries, temples, mountains landscape and warm greetings from smiling local

| Langtang Valley Trek |

The
region north of Kathmandu offers a multitude of trekking
destinations. The three major areas are Langtang, Gosainkund and
Helambu, which can be combined in many different ways to make treks
from 7 to 16 days length. On this trek you explore the
Langtang National Park, the home of Tibetan looking people.
We begin our journey by a drive towards the north west of kathmandu to
a mountain village of Dhunche a major village of Langtang area.
The trek commences
from here to the farmland, villages and forest of rhododendron,
conifer, bamboos, oaks and pines. In the spring season, the forest
looks enchanting with flowers all around. After passing this
fascinating scenery we follow the narrow gorge of Langtang river till
we ascend to the large alpine grass land of Kyanjen Gompa where the
glacier meets the meadow. You can see yaks grazing around with the
backdrops of snowy peaks of Langtang Ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorjee Lakpa
and many other unnamed mountains around. |
