February - May

The great Himalayas of Nepal are well known as one of the best destinations in the world for enjoying the real beauty of the nature. Trekking along the trails into the interior parts of the country will lead you to ancient foot trails that you will always remember for the scenic river-banks, terraced fields, forested ranges and mountain villages. Trekkers may walk along the rough but beautiful trails in the lap of green and friendly looking hills. You will be impressed by the rhododendron filled green dark and deep forests with different seasonal flowers blossoming, domestic and forest animals, varieties of birds, monasteries, temples, mountain landscapes and the warm greetings from smiling local people.
Gokyo - Kalapathar Trek (22 days)
After flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, we'll begin trekking to the Sherpa capital Namche Bazaar and on to the turquoise glacial waters of Gokyo Lakes, sacred to Tibetan Buddhist living in this area. Rising for an early start, we'll trek to the summit of Gokyo Ri for some of the best mountain views in all of Nepal. We'll travel across the Ngozumpa Glacier before crossing Cho La Pass to Dzongla.

From here, we'll make our way to Lobuche along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and on to Gorakshep at the base of the Kalapathar. You can hike to the top for sunset views or make an early morning trek to its summit for a panoramic view the high Himalaya, including the trek to Everest Base Camp at the foot of the imposing Khumbu icefall which is 3 hours from Gorakshep.
