This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural
beauty and culture. Due to its isolation and lack of teahouses this
area still receives few trekkers. Sherpas, Rais and Limbus are the main
inhabitants of this area. You will be walking north up the Arun River to Sedua and
Num, then crossing Barun La into the upper Barun Khola valley for a
close look at Makalu. You can decide for an even wilder trek by
crossing Sherpani Col and West Col into the upper Hongu valley. The
second part of the trek is very difficult and almost impossible
without previous experience.
Sherpa International Trekking and Expedition is a
registered compay. Our expedition guides, leaders and climbing Sherpas
are well experienced.
They have been active in this field for the last two decades. So they
can provide all necessary guidance to take all precaution. They know
expected
dangers and how to tackle them. This enhances the members of our
expeditions to have
full confidence and courage.
